Accepting Help

Do you have a hard time asking for or accepting help?

Whew. Don't we all need to know this is true?

Beloved, do you struggle asking for or accepting help? Do you believe You are Loved No Matter What? Following Holley Gerth’s blog is such a pleasure, she is one of the most positive blogger’s. She is an author of many books that offer hope.

You're Going to Be Okay by Holley Gerth

Look at the titles. Do you know that You’re Already Amazing? You’re Going to Be Okay? You’re Made for a God-Sized Dream? Opening the Door to Your God-Sized Dream. Do you need to be reassured of God’s Heart for You? Or tap into What Your Heart Needs for the Hard Days?

Why is this so important? Recognizing who you are in Christ is my crusade. May I lend you my hope? May I tell you how valuable you are? Beloved, God loves you whether you love Him or not, whether you are mad at Him, or whether you are full of disappointment and you blame Him for the circumstances.

When life is hard, do you struggle asking someone for help? Do you find it hard to ask for someone to pray for you? Do you have a hard time accepting help when offered? Do you even let someone know you have a need, a desire, or maybe even a want? Are you afraid of rejection?

Because I suffer with chronic health issues, I have been guilty of not asking for help. I am guilty of not asking because you might say no and I will not risk rejection. I have been guilty of not asking for prayer because I do not want to burden you with my health issues that are chronic and do not seem to go away.

May I urge you today to ask? Ask for prayer, ask for that thing that will help you realize your God-given dream!

Perfect

Ask, Seek, Knock
Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. “For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened.… Matthew 7: 6-8

ASK!

Diana, I cannot wait to read Holley’s books. They are all on my to read list. Indeed we are enough. I am currently wearing a bracelet from an event that I was at last week. The bracelet reads “Living in God’s abundance” and then on the other side it reads ” I am enough.” It is so easy to get caught up in our own perfectionism and thinking we are not enough, but the truth is that we are! Blessed to be your neighbor at Coffee for your Heart today!
