2015

The Alpha and the Omega

The beginning and the end

Saying, I am Alpha and Omega, the first and the last: and, What you see, write in
a book, and send it unto the seven churches which are in Asia; unto Ephesus  Rev 1:11

I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End. …Revelation 22:13

 Love Ran Red

There’s a place where mercy reigns and never dies,
There’s a place where streams of grace flow deep and wide.
Where all the love I’ve ever found,
Comes like a flood,
Comes flowing down.

[Chorus:]
At the cross
At the cross
I surrender my life.
I’m in awe of You
I’m in awe of You
Where Your love ran red
and my sin washed white.
I owe all to You
I owe all to You Jesus.

There’s a place where sin and shame are powerless.
Where my heart has peace with God and forgiveness.
Where all the love I’ve ever found.
Comes like a flood,
Comes flowing down.

[Chorus]

Here my hope is found
Here on holy ground
Here I bow down
Here arms open wide
Here You save my life
Here I bow down
Here I bow down

Jesus is the Alpha the Omega, the beginning and the end. In Revelations 21:6, “He said to me, “It is done! I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End. I will give freely to him who is thirsty from the spring of the water of life.”

Jesus is the last Adam, our Advocate, Almighty, Alpha and Omega, Amen, Arm of the Lord, Author and Finisher of Our Faith, Author of Eternal Salvation. He is the Beginning of Creation of God, Beloved Son, Branch, and the Bread of Life. He is the Captain of Salvation, Chief Shepherd, Cornerstone, Counselor. He is Dayspring, Deliverer, Door. He is the Elect of God, Faithful Witness, First Begotten Son, the First and Last. He is God. He is the Good Shepherd and the Great High Priest. He is Holy Child, Holy One, Horn of Salvation and I am. He is the Just One. King of Kings, Lord of All, the Lamb, The Light of the World. He is the Messiah, Mighty God, Morning Star, the Nazarene, the Only Begotten Son, The Prince of Life. He is the Resurrection and Life, Root of David, Rose of Sharon, Savior, Truth, and Word.

I love the names of Jesus, there is a bible resource All The Names of Jesus which is where I found the above list with scripture references.

Will you join me in the new year reading the bible and praying? Will you join me in memorizing scripture. Beth Moore has a plan that starts tomorrow called the Siesta Scripture Memory Plan. Becky Tirabassi has a read through the Bible program and what better way than a bible with Old Testament, New Testament, Proverbs and Psalms and she has a powerful prayer journal. Last but not least, Wendy Pope  uses the  Chronological Bible.

I am so humbled and grateful that you read my blog. Tomorrow I will start a new series on the book Your Life Still Counts by Tracie Miles. You can get the book at Amazon. I started this morning Colleen with the Chronological bible. We need more of God, His Word, His Son and less of the world. You are welcome for the resources. Blessings Diana

It’s amazing to know He was there in the beginning and will be there in the end. And He is always with us. What a wonderful reminder!

What a great reminder to stay plugged into the word. I want to be more in tune to the Spirit and I know it starts with His word. Thanks for the challenge. And congratulations on your story being published. I hope your book study goes well!
