ALONE

Go.

Treasuring time with my dad  I am aware of how alone he is living in Oklahoma. Being alone day after day is beginning to take its toil on him. I hear it in his voice. We just celebrated his 90th birthday. Each time I leave his home, I pray that I will be blessed to see him yet again.

My youngest son is near the Oregon border in California and he is cutting roads for fire fighters. He works alone. He recently has made friends with a squirrel. Yet he is alone.

Beloved are you alone? Sometimes we can be alone even though we are married. Sometimes we are alone because our circle of friends has dwindled down and we no longer see our family very often. The reality is that we may physically be alone but spiritually  we are never alone.  Promises in the Bible say that Jesus will never leave us or forsake us and He is the same yesterday, today and tomorrow. We have the Holy Spirit living inside of us so we are never alone. Embrace who you are in Christ. Do you know Jesus as your savior? Then beloved you are not alone.

Stop.

You Will Never Walk Alone

I have the same feelings with my mom being alone. Yes, I live closer to her than you live to your dad, but I am 45 minutes to an hour away from her, so I typically see her once a week. She is getting older, and failing health, and my heart sinks every time I have to leave her….. alone. I will be with her today for a Dr. appointment, and maybe some shopping. 🙂
I am just learning to cherish each time I am with her. 🙂 ❤

    Love you Diana! ❤

As my grandparents age, I worry more about then than before. Luckily my Dad, Uncle are near by. In Christ, we are indeed never alone. God will never leave us or forsake us. I’m parked in the #9 spot this week.
