Barbie Swihart at The Daily Brew won this award as she was nominated by Chrissy at The Brave Wanderer.

 Barbie and I met online when she graciously volunteered to make a button for my October series.

Barbie has helped me so much with my blog. She has not only made my buttons, she allowed me to guest blog for her, and she gives me so much encouragement. I count her my sister in Christ. Barbie nominated me for this award. I am in awe of being nominated for a blogging award and I am humbled not only for Barbie nominating me but for being my friend.

Here are the rules adapted by Barbie Swihart.

Rules

Here are the questions Barbie asked and my answers.

  1. What’s in your mug? Coffee? Tea? Something else?  I love a little coffee with my sugar free French Vanilla creamer. My new drink at work is Vanilla Chai Latte.

  2. If you could sit and talk to one person who lived during Bible times other than Jesus, who would it be and why? I would love to sit and talk to Jonathan. How did it feel to have an unbalanced father? I would ask him how it was to honor David over his father, Saul. I would like to know how he felt that David was to be King even though he was the apparent heir. I would compare friendship notes, how he bonded with David to be his best friend. 1 samuel 18:1 s soon as he had finished speaking to Saul, the soul of Jonathan was knit to the soul of David, and Jonathan loved him as his own soul. … 

  3. How many pairs of heels do you have in your closet and how high are they? I have four pairs of heels. I am a wimp the heels are about an inch. There is a hot pink pair of heels that I have yet to wear. LOL.

  4. How do you unwind at the end of a long, stressful day? I wish I could tell you I went for a walk. But, I read and I write. Some of my best blogs are written at the end of a long stressful day.

  5. What is one thing on your bucket list? I would like to do a medical mission trip. I am a nurse and that would be rewarding.

I am loved by God, the alpha, the omega, the beginning, the end. According to the Bible, I am fearfully and wonderfully made. I am a saint who sometimes sins. I believe that Jesus is God's son and that He died on the cross to give me eternal life. I am married to my high school sweet heart Doug. I have been blessed by two adult sons Randy and Dale, who are married and I have six grandchildren Christian, Seth, Ethan, Hunter, Sabrina and Emerson. I became a nurse as an adult. I have had an amazing career and give all the glory to God.

    Oh my goodness Diana…congratulations! That is so awesome and I loved reading your answers. I am so humbled that you would choose my blog for this award. I just don’t even know what to say right now. Thank you so much. You are truly a real blessing in my life and I thank God for you (and for Barbie).

    What fun questions and what great answers! I loved your answer of Jonathan… so many would pick Paul or Mary or so many others, but I love the relationship between David and Jonathan too! Mephibosheth would be a good one too… what a fun question to ponder! Congrats on the Award!

    Congratulations on your award! It’s always so nice when others acknowledge us like that. I received a similar kind of award after the 31 Days series called the One Lovely Blog award and I was over the moon! Great post!

    Hi Diana! I am an honored fellow nominee and happy I stopped by to visit. I love your take on meeting Jonathan. Some of my best friends are nurses and a couple have been on medical mission trips – what a blessing you all are!
