Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, since as members of one body you were called to peace. And be thankful.Let the message of Christ dwell among you richly as you teach and admonish one another with all wisdom through psalms, hymns, and songs from the Spirit, singing to God with gratitude in your hearts. And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him. Colossians 3:15-17
How can we let the peace of Christ rule in our hearts? How can we let the message of Christ dwell among us? How can we show gratitude? How can do all that we do in word and deed, do it all in the name of the Lord? One simple action. WORSHIP.
Today is WORSHIP Wednesday. Turn on some worship music. When I listen to music, I am surrounded with peace. We are to let the peace of Christ rule in our hearts. We are to be thankful. We are to let the message of Christ indwell us. When we read the word of God, the psalms are filled with worship. King David danced before the Lord. King David before he was king played music to soothe Saul ranging mind. Then the verse says, And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father. Do you have gratitude in your heart? Worshiping brings gratitude. Worshiping brings peace.
Father God, I am so thankful that you have given us a heart to sing, that you entrust us to praise you and to thank you. That we can come before your throne and bow down and worship your Holy name. Holy Holy Holy. Your are the only one worthy of our praise. 
Will you get alone with your Abba Father and Praise His Holy Name.
I am so thankful for you that you read my blog. I am thankful for King David because he praised God. I am thankful for singers like Michael W. Smith who have brought change in the church with praise music. I am thankful for the hymn writers.
