Day 2-Advent

For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. Isaiah 9-6

Today, standing in line to get a coffee, before I walked away, I was able to buy a cup of coffee for a mother of one of the patients in the hospital. She said, “You are my Christmas Angel.” I decided for the month of December I really wanted to do kind deeds for others.

In Luke 1, God sent the Angel Gabriel to the virgin Mary pledged to marry Joseph. According to Author, Liz Curtis Higgs, Mary may have been as young as 12 to 13 years old, when she conceived Jesus. In her new book about Mary, Elizabeth, and Anna, Liz describes that when Mary returns to Nazareth she was showing so the town naturally was talking.

Luke 2, So the prophecies of Jesus, all came true. He will be call Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God,  Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.  Jesus Christ is born. He is loved and adored. Glory to God in the Highest. The boy grows in wisdom and stature and in favor with God and men.

Beloved, work on Isaiah 9:6, and read Luke 2. What kind deed can you do tomorrow?

I love the idea of being intentional in doing a kind deed for someone each day.

I too, am committing to doing at least one kind deed for someone each day for the month of December! 🙂 ❤
