Delight

Take delight in the LORD, and he will give you the desires of your heart. Psalm 37:4

I asked my friend to pick a word for me to write on for five minutes. It is five-minute Friday where you write for five minutes no correcting and then you share with an amazing group of women.

This week I had a delightful reunion with my earlier co-workers at a party I remembered their names. For some of the people I had not seen for five years. Friday at work I helped a person and it seemed like a Christmas miracle. The real delight is coming this week when on the twenty-fourth, I will be with my sons, daughters-in-law, and grandchildren for our annual gift exchange. I am delighted because I found a photographer that will come to the house and take our picture on Christmas eve.

I am on vacation this week so I have time to wrap presents. I am delighted that as we approach Christmas that we share the love of Christ the reason for the season.
