Ever Present

EverPresent2_Diana

One of my life verses Nahum 1:7 says, “The LORD is good, a refuge in times of trouble. He cares for those who trust in him.”  This verse means so much to me because the Lord is good and He is good all the time. Not only is the Lord good but He is EVER PRESENT.

God is omnipotent, omniscience, and omnipresent. When my youngest son was four he said, “Mommy, I love Dod, (God) he is everywhere and he made strawberries.”  What is this we say out of the mouth of babes?

What challenges are you facing? In my teenager years, my parents relocated me from Kansas to California. God is Ever Present. At this time, I suffered loss of friends. I really wondered where God was I was feeling so betrayed by my parents. As an adult, struggling in my marriage, I knew God was ever-present and that He could save my marriage. Currently, as I work toward retirement, He is ever-present in the planning of perfect timing of when I retire.

Another life verse Psalm 46:1 says, “God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble.” Why so many refuge and strength verses in my life is due to coping with illness. God is an ever-present help in trouble whether that trouble is chronic pain, not enough money to meet your monthly obligations, not enough money for retirement, an ex-husband suing for custody of your child, you need a job, your adult child has disappointed you yet again, your child is struggling in school. Beloved, with God as our refuge and our strength and an ever-present help in trouble, we can trust God with any of our problems.

Jesus is Ever-Present. God is Ever-Present. Holy Spirit is Ever-Present.

Father God, I adore you. You are an ever-present God. You are good, you are a refuge in times of trouble. You care for those who trust in you. You are a refuge. You are strength, You are ever-present help in trouble. Thank you for always being ever-present. Thank you that we can trust you God. In Jesus’ name Amen
