Five Minute Friday: Fill

Five Minute Friday- a time to write for five minutes without worrying about correcting your work. Just to write. I am always editing my writing so this is difficult for me to do. I often write my prayers. I love to write with a purple pen in my Change Your Life Journal from Becky Tirabassi. There is something to be said for journaling one’s prayers. Becky Tirabassi has encouraged women and written her prayers combining reading God’s word from the Change Your Life Bible and Journal for twenty-five years. She says, “Change begins with awareness, is empowered by admission, achieved with a daily written action plan and sustained by accountability.” Have you ever written out a bible verse and personalized the verse with your name? Micah 3:8a On the other hand, Diana (Your name) is filled with the Spirit of the Lord. Romans 15:13 Now may the God of hope fill Diana (your name) with all joy and peace in believing that Diana (your name) may abound in hope by the power to the Holy Spirit. The word this week for five minute Friday is Fill. Here are my thoughts for the next five minutes on the word Fill.

When I think of the word fill, I think of a glass, is the glass half empty or have full? There are days when I am discouraged due to chronic back pain and headaches that the glass is half-empty. However the days where I give my day to the Lord, the pain may be there but I put one foot in front of the other and go and guess what the glass is half-full. How do you put on a happy face when there is pain in your life? I give myself to God and remember that I can do all things through Jesus who loves me. I want Jesus to fill me up. I want His word to so fill me that I reflect Jesus in my actions, words and deed. This is the day that the Lord has made I will rejoice and be glad. FILL= Faith, Intimacy In to me see. Love and Laughter.

Blessings.

We view things just as what goes in our heads. A happy us, sees only good around and a sad mind hardly finds any happiness anywhere. Your writ-up sums up life in a few words. Beautiful!
