God’s family tree is found in 1 Chronicles 1: 1-4, this is known as the trunk in the Message Bible. God created Adam. Adam has Cain and Abel and Cain kills Abel. Later Adam has another son named Seth. Seth has Enosh, Enosh has Kenan, Kenan has Mahlalel, Mahalel has Jared, Jared has Enoch, Enoch has Methuselah, Methuselah has Lamech, Lamech has Noah.
The nuggets I pulled from God’s word today was that Enoch did not die. The men lived longer lives during this time such that God decides that man will not live this long after Noah’s sons. The average life becomes 120 years. Enoch walked with God and he obeyed God such that after 350 years, he just went to be with the Lord. His heart beat the very beat of God’s heart beat. To be a woman of such integrity. Can you imagine Enoch walking down the road and just then being with God? Beloved, we have the ability to close our eyes and be with God. God invites us to have a super close relationship with him. To be in his word, to claim the promises as our own, to set our eyes on his plans for us. We can walk in the close relationship not fighting the yoke. Blessings can be ours.
God mercies are new every morning and we can quietly hope for help. Today watching the parade, Honda’s parade was Hope Blooms Forever. With God, Hope does bloom forever. We can focus on the vine and the branch God and Jesus from whom our hope comes from. Our memory verse is Romans 15:13
May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.
We do this by focusing our eyes on Jesus, the champion who initiates and perfects our faith. Because of the joy awaiting him, he endured the cross, disregarding its shame. Now he is seated in the place of honor beside God’s throne. Hebrews 12:2

Beloved, I struggle being a woman of integrity but that is the goal I am focusing on this year, I want to do what God tells me to do. Noah listened to God, never questioned God. He influenced his family. How did he do that? I need more influence on my family. How are your listening skills?
Father God, we want to be women of integrity, women who focus, and women who listen. Improve my listening skills. Let me influence my family with your love. In Jesus name, Amen.
