Joy To the World

Five Minute Friday Five Minute to write on the same word and then join with other writers. The word this week is Joy.

If you keep My commandments, you will remain in My love, just as I have kept My Father’s commandments and remain in His love. I have told you these things so that My joy may be in you and your joy may be complete.This is My commandment, that you love one another as I loved you.… John 15: 10-12

One of my favorite Christmas Carols is Joy to World. It shares the gospel message that the Lord has come. The Christmas season is about Christ and his birth. Do you get caught up in buying gifts? forgetting whose birthday we are celebrating. My world slowed down this year because of my recovery but I find myself caught up in the season of lights, movies, nostalgia. I love spending time with my grandchildren. What are your plans? Lets celebrate and enJOY.

I am loved by God, the alpha, the omega, the beginning, the end. According to the Bible, I am fearfully and wonderfully made. I am a saint who sometimes sins. I believe that Jesus is God's son and that He died on the cross to give me eternal life. I am married to my high school sweet heart Doug. I have been blessed by two adult sons Randy and Dale, who are married and I have six grandchildren Christian, Seth, Ethan, Hunter, Sabrina and Emerson. I became a nurse as an adult. I have had an amazing career and give all the glory to God.

    hi diana, i’m your next door neighbor at FMF:) it was a toss-up for me wether to write about joy to the world or what i wrote about. i finally went with Psalm 63. blessings:)
