For who is our hope or joy or crown of exultation? Is it not even you, in the presence of our Lord Jesus at His coming? For you are our glory and joy. 1 Thessalonians 2: 19
When I think of joy, I think of the song that I learned as a child in camp, “Joy, Joy, Joy” down in my heart brings a smile to my face. Daily filled with joy, I seek to serve the patients that I am scheduled to see for the day. Every day, we have a choice to be unhappy filled with discontented or happy filled with joy.
Sing praise to the LORD, you His godly ones, And give thanks to His holy name. For His anger is but for a moment, His favor is for a lifetime; Weeping may last for the night, But a shout of joy comes in the morning. Now as for me, I said in my prosperity, “I will never be moved.”… Psalm 30:4-6
Even when we have a bad day, joy comes in morning. Beloved, we have a choice, be filled with joy.
