God’s Attributes

  O Lord, our Lord, whose glory is higher than the heavens, how noble is your name in all the earth! Psalm 8:1

Praise to the glory of his noble name for ever; let all the earth be full of his glory. Psalm 72:19

The voice of the Lord is full of power; the voice of the Lord has a noble sound. Psalm 29:4

O LORD How Majestic is Your NAME

As a child, I loved God. As a teen, I loved God. As a young wife and mom, I loved God. Every day with Jesus is sweeter than the day before. Songs from my youth like Trust and Obey created in me a desire to walk with the Lord in the light of His word. My mother and grandmother introduced me to prayer. When I think of our noble and majestic God, I think of the most magnificence sunrise. Beloved when do you feel closest to God? Can you see Him in the beauty of a sunset? Beloved we serve an amazing God. He is noble. He is the Lord of Lord’s, He is the Alpha the Omega the beginning the end, He is our Abba Father.

Make a song to the Lord; for he has done noble things: give news of them through all the earth.  Isaiah 12:5

Psalm 100  On your feet now – applaud God!  Bring a gift of laughter, sing yourselves into his presence.  Know this: God is God, and God, God. He made us; we didn’t make him. We’re his people, his well-tended sheep.  Enter with the password: “Thank you!” Make yourselves at home, talking praise. Thank him. Whom do you praise? Will you spend some time in prayer, acknowledging God as a Noble, Majestic God? Will you pray Psalm 100 with me?

Father God, I want to shout from the roof tops that you are my Lord. Father God, I know that you are Lord, you are God. I come before you with joyful songs because I worship you and you alone. Lord God I praise you because you made us and we are yours. Lord, I want to be thankful and I want to praise your name giving thanks everyday for your love. Father God you are good and your love endures forever. You are faithful and will be faithful until Jesus returns to take us home. Because your love and faithfulness endures forever.

I am so thankful for my heritage and beloved even if you are just learning to walk with the Lord in the light of His word, may you know you serve a noble God.
