S- Psalm 119:9-11, How can a young man keep His way pure? By guarding it according to your word. With my whole heart I seek you: let me not wander from your commandments. I have stored your word in my heart that I may not sin against you. ESV
How can a young man keep his way pure? By living according to your word. I seek you with all my heart; do not let me stray from your commandments. I have hidden your word in my heart that I might not stray from your commandments. NIV
How can a young person live a clean life? By carefully reading the map of your word. I’m single minded in pursuit of you, don’t let me miss the road signs you’ve posted. I banked your promises in the vault of my heart so I won’t sin myself bankrupt. MSG
O- These verses ask and answer a question about purity. Pure means not mixed with anything, having no guilt, Free of dirt, pollutants, infectious agents, or other unwanted elements: Word, Commandment, Road map, and Road signs refer to God’s Holy Word. Guarding means protection. Living is an active word. Seek is an action word. Hidden is an active word to hide. Whole means all. Do not wander or stray or miss road signs is applying God’s word.
A How do we live a clean life or a pure life? Reading God’s word, Memorizing God’s word is the recipe to a pure or clean life. Daily be in God’s word. How do you apply God’s word? We have to read God’s word and memorize God’s word. I am going to memorize Psalm 119:11. To hide God’s word we have to memorize God’s word. Will you join me and memorize this verse? Another thing I can do is I can use God’s word to guide my life and protect my mind so that when I read, when I seek God, I cannot do this half-hearted. As I seek God and claim His promises, I am assured that He will walk with me. Before I start my day, I will read God’s word and pray so I will not stray from God during the day. Will you join me?
P Father God I pray that your word will come alive for me and my beloved faith sisters. I know that your word is active and alive as any two edge sword. When I allow your word to penetrate my mind, I am in awe of your will for my life. You call me daughter, and you want me to live a pure life. One that is full of blessings. Let my words edify, let me serve you and seek you every day. Lord, I want to hide your word in my heart so that I will not sin against you. Lord in Psalm 139: 23-24, will you search me, O God, and know my heart; test me and know my anxious thoughts. See if there is any offensive way in me and lead me in the way everlasting. Lord I want my life to be pure and reflection of your love. I pray for my beloved faith sisters that they will read and memorize your word.

Driving to work this morning, I was more aware of the beauty of this world where we live. I travel through a rural area with a dairy, and we are not far from Zoo Safari which is where the animals are not caged but on open range. The flowers were striking this morning. I like that God has given us a road map with directions of how to live a pure life.
Beloved, let God search you today and get rid of any offensive way you might be harboring.
