The Psalmist declares his dependency on God’s word. God’s word gives him hope and comfort. He claim God’s word when he has been mocked. He sings praises and obeys God’s word. God is his portion asking for forgiveness and turning back to obeying God’s word. He loves all who fear God, the earth is filled with your love, teach me your decrees. The Psalmist asks for knowledge and good judgment. He declares that God is good, even in this affliction. He declares that God’s word is more precious than silver and gold.
Beloved, do you depend on God’s word? Is God’s word more precious than silver and gold?
