Psalm 119 W5D5

W5D5

What to do with God’s word? Love, meditate, memorize, contemplate, obey, apply, comprehend, depend, and utilize God’s word. God’s promises give insight, understanding, protection, and direction. God’s word is sweeter than honey and as we apply His word, it keeps us safe. God’s word illumines our pathway, gives us insight, preserves our minds, protects our lives, and alleviates suffering. God we praise you and ask that you teach us your word. Your word is our heritage and joy. God’s statutes and precepts are joy and keep us from evildoers, and double minded people. God’s word is my hope, a refuge, a shield. God’s word is to be respected, it convicts, it demands respects. Those of us that love God and His word, fear Him and stand in awe of God’s law and promises.

Beloved, God’s word is to be respected and honored. I am loving this Psalm because of the direction the Psalmist has given us. Is God’s word sweeter than honey to you?
