Psalm 119 W6D5

W6D5

The Psalmist declares he is righteous and just and he pleads to God, do not leave him to his oppressors. Ensure my well-being, my eyes fail, do not let the arrogant oppress me. I am your servant: give me discernment, understanding, and teach me your decrees. God your law is being broken, I love your command more than pure gold, your precepts are right, wonderful, give light, gives understanding,  Your word I long for, have mercy on me, your words directs my steps, prevents me from sin, redeems me for oppression. Teach me so that I remain sensitive to your word, your law has not been obeyed and that brings me to tears. You are righteous Lord, your laws are right, your word is righteous and trustworthy. My zeal for your word wears me out because the enemy ignores your word. Your word is true and I do not forget your word. Your word helps me when I am troubled and distress. Your word gives me delight, and are always righteous and give me understanding so I may live.
