Beloved, do you have any enemies? King David is fleeing his son in this Psalm. David had many enemies throughout his life. I have had people who I have wanted their approval and did not receive their approval. Do you have someone who you wanted their approval? Psalm 3: 1-2

O LORD, I have so many enemies; so many are against me. So many are saying, “God will never rescue him!”

King David prayed, “But you, Lord, are a shield around me, my glory, the One who lifts my head high. I call out to the Lord. and he answers me from his holy mountain. Psalm 3:3-4

Beloved, can you use the Lord’s shield around you? Can you feel him lifting your head? Will you call out to the Lord? King David declares that God watched over him while he slept. He asks for God to rescue him in Psalm 7. Lastly, in  Psalm 3:8

Victory comes from you, O LORD. May you bless your people.

Beloved, we do not need the approval of a person, we only need God’s love and approval. Blessings.
