God’s Attributes

Rock (1)

The LORD is my rock, my fortress and my deliverer; my God is my rock, in whom I take refuge, my shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold. Psalm 18:2

Praise the Lord, my soul; all my inmost being, praise his holy name. Praise the Lord, my soul, and forget not all his benefits—who forgives all your sins and heals all your diseases, who redeems your life from the pit

and crowns you with love and compassion, who satisfies your desires with good things so that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s. The Lord works righteousness and justice for all the oppressed. Psalm 103: 1-6

In 1995, I had the pleasure of going to Israel. I was there with Global Missions Fellowship and I walked the hills of Nazareth sharing my testimony. I shared from  the verses above Psalm 103: 1-6. I knew God had forgiven all my poor choices  and I had renewed my commitment to my husband. I shared my testimony and I prayed for those we witness. A young couple accepted Christ from my testimony.  The Holy Land was amazing and I saw the Masada, a mighty fortress. The Masada overlooks the Dead Sea. It is beautiful place to see.

Today, I truly know that God is my rock, my fortress, my deliverer, He has not healed my migraines but He enabled me to work with the headaches. Oh how I know His love and compassion. He has given me an amazing career as a nurse. He has given me wonderful family and friends.

God satisfies our desires so that our youth is renewed like the eagle.

In You, O Lord, I Take Refuge
…In Your righteousness deliver me and rescue me; Incline Your ear to me and save me. Be to me a rock of habitation to which I may continually come; You have given commandment to save me, For You are my rock and my fortress.Rescue me, O my God, out of the hand of the wicked, Out of the grasp of the wrongdoer and ruthless man,… Psalm 71: 2-4

Beloved, is God the rock of your salvation? Is He your fortress? Do you run and hide in Him, in the cleft of the rock?   “A Mighty Fortress Is Our God”

Father God, I praise you. You are the rock of my salvation. You are solid and unmovable. You love us so much. Just as you showed your self to Moses such that Moses knew your presence, become real to us Lord. I am in awe of your love and majesty. I want to rest in you the rock of my salvation.   Lord use each one of us to witness for you.
