Skies the Limit

SANTA CRUZ, CA

“Men of Galilee,” they said, “why do you stand here looking into the sky? This same Jesus, who has been taken from you into heaven, will come back in the same way you have seen him go into heaven.” Acts 1:11

So hard to get on with life when a love one passes away but can you imagine having been alive during the time that Jesus lived. This verse written when he transfigured and has risen into the sky. Jesus who sits at the right hand of God in heaven, will come back in the same way you have seen him go into heaven. So Jesus is going to come back in the sky. My cousin sings and he sings a song about a time when Jesus hears the command from God to go and get the children of God. Beloved, that could be tonight that we would meet him in the sky. Beloved, are you ready?

Listen, I tell you a mystery: We will not all sleep, but we will all be changed— in an instant, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, the dead will be raised imperishable, and we will be changed. 5For the perishable must be clothed with the imperishable, and the mortal with immortality.…1 Corinthians 15: 51-53

For since we believe that Jesus died and rose again, we also believe that God will bring with Jesus those who have fallen asleep in Him. 15By the word of the Lord, we declare to you that we who are alive and remain until the coming of the Lord will by no means precede those who have fallen asleep. 16For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a loud command, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God, and the dead in Christ will be the first to rise.…
