Create in me a pure heart, O God, and renew a steadfast spirit within me. Psalm 51:10
How do you create a pure heart? Of course, one needs a relationship with God with God. How do you renew a steadfast spirit? Once again one needs a relationship with God. A pure heart exist of asking Jesus as your savior. John 3:16 says, “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.” Renewing and remaining in Christ creates a pure heart and steadfast spirit. 1 Corinthians 15:58 says, But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ! Therefore, my beloved brothers, be steadfast and immovable. Always excel in the work of the Lord, because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain.
Beloved, let’s pray this simple prayer daily, create in me a pure heart, O God, and renew a steadfast spirit within me. What ways can you do this during your day?
