“They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer.Everyone was filled with awe at the many wonders and signs performed by the apostles. All the believers were together and had everything in common. They sold property and possessions to give to anyone who had need. Every day they continued to meet together in the temple courts. They broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts, praising God and enjoying the favor of all the people. And the Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved.” Acts 2 :42-47

    Go

Journey with me, after receiving the Holy Spirit; Peter and the apostles proclaim the good news. What is a church service? In Acts 2, the believers meet in the temple courts and in their homes not in the synagogue. They broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts, praising God and enjoying the favor of all the people. Many new believers accept the message of Jesus receiving the Holy Spirit and they devote themselves to teaching, fellowship, breaking bread, and to prayer.  Beloved, is your home available to use for the Lord? Is your heart a home for the Lord? Does He occupy all of your heart? Do you have a time of devotions? praying?

    Stop

Father God, fill us with the Holy Spirit. Enable us to be faithful as we walk daily with you. Where there is hopelessness, fill us with hope. Where there is strife, fill us with peace. Use us Lord to be a witness for you, to be devoted to prayer and fellowship with you each day. In Jesus’ Name. Amen
