Driving to my home from work there is a hill my car has to climb, then a curve that goes into one lane, the problem is that there is no warning so suddenly, there is a sea of brake lights. Have you ever had the sunlight so bright that you can not see through the glare of the sun? Several weeks ago we had a bright green light in the sky so much speculation, was it a UFO? The night that Christ was born, there was a bright star in the sky.
This bright star that was in the sky was a sign for the Magi , these men traveled many miles as told in Matthew to worship the Christ child and bring Him gifts of gold, Frankincense and myrrh. Have you ever pondered that Jesus left His Heavenly home to become a baby? A fully human baby. Yesterday as I was reading Luke 2, Jesus circumcision impressed me, I had never seen this before. Our Lord felt pain. His earthly Father Joseph skilled circumcised baby Jesus according to Jewish Traditions. Also I was thinking about God how He could let His son leave Heaven to fulfill this part of the mandated life of Jesus. I wonder if He wished there was another way?
