Adoration is active or action. As believers, we celebrate who God is in our lives or what he does in our lives. Sharing before what praising God through the alphabet looks like, and challenged you to take a prayer walk praising God on the walk. But what if your heart is sad, your prayer life is non-existent? Perhaps, there is no joy, no hope, no energy. Are you in the midst of a divorce? Are you struggling with a child that has autism? Are you struggling with an emotional affair? Are you struggling with depression or suicidal thoughts? Have you had trouble with a co-worker at work? or a boss? Prayer is difficult. Words are difficult to find. What do you do?

God who knows us and though He desires us to not pull away, when we do not know how to pray He provides an INTERCESSOR. In Romans 8:34, Jesus in the Intercessor. Romans 8: 26-27 The Holy Spirit intercedes for us.

In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness. We do not know what we ought to pray for, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us through wordless groans. And he who searches our hearts knows the mind of the Spirit, because the Spirit intercedes for God’s people in accordance with the will of God.

God is an intercessor as described in Job 16:20, “My intercessor is my friend as my eyes pour out tears to God.”

Beloved, God know where you are, He knows when you are struggling with your children, a marriage,  he gives joy and hope, he is with you in the midst of a divorce, or concerns at work. He intercedes when we do not know how to pray. Count on this, beloved.

Father God, Thank you that you pray for us, when we do not know how to pray you pray for us. Thank you that you gave us your son to die on the cross to be at the right hand of God. Thank you for the Holy Spirit. In Jesus’ name Amen.
