    As you light your candle the first purple candle is the candle of hope and the second candle is the candle of peace.

    You will keep in perfect peace those whose minds are steadfast, because they trust in you. Isaiah 26:3

    Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid. John 14:27

    Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all comprehension, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6-7

    Often as the Christmas season approaches I am carried away with preparing for Christmas Eve, I suffer anxiety. Can you relate? I am the only one that wraps the gifts and of course I buy too many.
