    Passing a Test

Have you ever taken a test? Do you have testing anxiety? I have taken many tests in my adult life as a nurse. It seemed like there was always a performance exam.

    Test

    Scripture

The word test as a part of testimony is in the Bible 181 times, 34 times in the book of Psalms.

    Testimony must be pretty important.

Sixteen times in Psalm 119. We read it twice in Psalm 81.

“Hear, O my people, and I will testify unto thee: O Israel, if thou wilt hearken unto me;” Psalm 81: 8

    Thoughts

In Psalm 81, we read the Psalmist recalling the testimony of how they were delivered out of Egypt. This was an act of God that required much sacrifice. Moses performed many test that the Pharaoh snubbed his nose until it required the blood of a lamb to protect. He lost his son in that plaque and he demanded they leave even though he changed his mind. Then he chased the Israelites and God parted the sea. The Israelites walked through on dry ground passing a test of trusting God.

What does God have you walking through at this time of your life? Will you testify of God’s goodness?

    Sing aloud of God’s strength.

What is your testimony? Trusting God to split the sea in the area of………..

    Conclusion

I don’t have many tests at this time in my life, but I have seen many test passed because of God’s faithfulness.

What is God asking you to remember of His faithfulness?

Father God, thank you for your faithfulness. Thank you for saving each one of us. Thank you for God’s word. In Jesus’ name, Amen
