When I think of the word obstacle, I thought of an obstacle course to improve endurance. However, obstacle according to the dictionary is a thing that blocks one’s way or prevents or hinders progress. Often that is what happens to me when I start a new year with all the good intentions and plans of what I want to carry out. For example, in my youth, I wanted to read the Bible through in a year and something would always prevent me from accomplishing this. Procrastination number one reason and then illness, sometimes rebellion would rear its ugly head until I discover a yearly Bible.

Beloved, what are some obstacles that stop you from reaching your goals? Headaches for me is usually what derails me. Fatigue will sometimes overcome me and I just can’t think much less write words that I think will benefit you much less honor God.

Do you know that my writing began from me writing my prayers to God? Writing my prayers since the 1990’s in a variety of journals some homemade, some store bought. My first journal named “The Quiet Heart.”

Resolutions, goals, desires, dreams- each day make it count.

If you can dream it you can do it. Walt Disney

Beloved, God is trustworthy? Do you trust him? Will you give God your obstacles?

I will say of the LORD, “He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust.” Psalm 91:2
