    Whispers From God 17a

Father God, we praise you for you alone are worthy our praise. You are the alpha, the omega, the beginning, the end. You are the bright and morning star. You created the world and you created each one of us with a purpose to fulfill. You gave us Jesus to be our savior who paid the price for our sins……

Praise rolls off my lips this mornings, the sun still hidden, it is early, my body is rested. Another Monday another work day, thankful for my job, more thankful that my head is not hurting. Praise and thanksgiving seem to go hand in hand and yet are so different. In my prayer journal, a space for each one and in the Psalm’s the Psalmist praised God and thanked God. In Psalm 135: 1-2

Praise the LORD! Praise the nameof the LORD; Praise Him, O servants of the LORD, 2You who stand in the house of the LORD, In the courts of the house of our God!…

And Thanks is described in Colossians 3:17

Whatever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks through Him to God the Father.

Beloved, take a moment and praise God with me, so much to praise God for from the lilies of the valley to the bright morning sun, to our praise music and the authors who so creatively write music, from the classic hymns to the current worship music, let’s praise God for his word, Jesus, and creation. I praise him for you for reading my blog. I don’t even know many of you and you open your email to read these words.

Beloved, take a moment and thank God with me, so much to thank God for our families, friends and what ever circumstance you are in right now that you need help with.

Beloved, may I share something with you. My writing is blocked. Today, I feel better.  I went to a writer’s conference and one would think it would help. But the things I learned confused me and Satan messed with my mind. Praying through these things with praise and thanksgiving, I am asking for you prayers to find my rhythm to writing again.

Father God, I love you. In Jesus Name. Amen
