When I see this word immediately I think of a song called, “Silence is Golden,” Is silence golden? I struggle with silence especially when I am listening to God. Can you relate? With the scripture and my prayer journal open, I put on my listening ears. Yes, Lord I am here and I praise you, I am your daughter. Please speak to me, I sense, “Be still and Know I am God.’ Yes, Lord your are my God.
You have turned for me my mourning into dancing; You have loosed my sackcloth and girded me with gladness, that my soul may sing praise to You and not be silent. O LORD my God, I will give thanks to You forever. Psalm 30: 11-12
