Tuesday at Ten

Commit your way to the LORD; trust in him and he will do this: Psalm 37:5

I learned the song Trust and Obey as a little girl. “When you walk with the Lord in the light of his word,” is the opening line to the song. What does it mean to walk in the light of his word? God’s word inspired and according to 2 Timothy 3:16, “All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness.”  Proverbs 3:5-6, teaches us to trust with all of our hearts.

Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding;

in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.

Another song that means so much to me is All to Jesus I Surrender.  I am walking with the Lord, surrendering, trusting and obeying is the secret to TRUST.

Trusting Jesus at the age of eleven has given me a long life of serving Christ. There were some years of rebellion but after redemption and forgiveness. Mostly my years of trusting God have been faithful. Serving him as a Sunday School teacher, Vacation Bible School Teacher, Bible Study Fellowship Discussion Leader, Children’s Leader of Panda Bear’s and Church time. I still serve with Freedom in Christ Ministry since 1995. I do not share to brag but I think we serve as a natural outcome from our faith. My current joys are my online ministries.

The year is new. My word this year is HOPE. My verse is Romans 15:13

May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.

Beloved, are you filled with hope and trust for the year of 2016?

Father God, I pray for each one of my beautiful sisters that this year they trust you with all of their hearts and they lean not on their own understandings. That each one of them will submit to you and you will make make their way clear. For the new mom, you will help her in her new role. For those that are hopeless, you are hope. For those that are fearful, you are the only legitimate fear object and we have no reason to be afraid. For those that are barely making ends meet, send someone to help meet their need. Lord for my sister that has a burden and does not believe she can be forgiven, let her come to the foot of the cross and surrender her burden. All to Jesus, I surrender. All to Him I freely give. I will ever Love and trust him. Oh Lord, become real to my sisters, send your Holy Spirit. I love you Lord. In Jesus Name Amen
