Whispers From God 11a

Father God, I love you Lord and I praise you because you are the alpha, the omega, the beginning, the end. You alone are worthy of my praise. Beloved, what did you hear from the Lord this week? I listen to Charles Swindoll every morning on the way to work and he finished his series on Nehemiah. Nehemiah invested much in his leadership of the Jewish people to rebuild the wall around Jerusalem in record time of fifty-one days because he bathed his leadership in prayer. Beloved is prayer important to you?

Nehemiah in his leadership role feels that prayer is important. His job cup-bearer. I think praying before drinking, what might be poison, for wisdom whether to drink or not in a job as cup-bearer. He doesn’t start his prayer with asking God, he starts with praise. Praise is so important. As I learned from the book Becoming A Good Bible Study Girl, by Lysa Terkeurst, when we praise God we’re ushered into God presence and this is a promise.

Praise Him, Praise Him, all ye little children, God is love. God is love. In the month of April, I am going to write on adoration joining the A-Z challenge.
