By faith, I choose to be filled with the Spirit so that I can be guided into all truth, I chose to walk by the Spirit so that I will not carry out the desires of the flesh. John 16:11, Galatians 5:16. Ephesians 5:18

Reading and memorizing God’s word in my youth, preparing for endless sword drills where my mom would call out scriptures “Nahum 1:7,” and I would race against the clock to see how fast I could find this small book towards the back of the Old Testament. Of course, I would practice taking that step forward with my bible open to Nahum 1:7.

Struggling as a teenager, boys pull me away from my first love, however, a young bride quickly returns to the Word.

Then as a young mother, Bible Study Fellowship studying in-depth lessons as a discussion leaders. When my friend and I started Genesis how can we spend nine months in Genesis, then we will never finish Genesis in nine months. Teaching Sunday School becomes a way of life, then I find my gift with the 3-year-old, one must study to present those Bible Stories. My true gift finds me in 1996, as an encourager I train and so I help women find Freedom In Christ.

What has God whispered to me this week? The verses above are from The Steps to Freedom and this is one of the Statements of Truth on page 10.

I am choosing by faith, to be filled with the Holy Spirit (this is my right as a child of God) so that I can be guided into all truth. I want all of God’s truth. For all of my today’s I am going to actively choose to walk by the Spirit, that means no grieving the Holy Spirit. So I have to consciously to not carry out the desires of the flesh.

He has whispered to me that He loves me. Beloved, God love you  What has he been whispering to you?
