I have never met Tracie Miles in person but I know her as she and I have prayed for each other since I submitted my weight loss journey to her in May of 2013. I read her book Stressless Livingand I receive her blog from http://www.traciemiles.com. She will be offering her book study in March on Your Life Still Counts. When Tracie emailed me and shared she was including my weight loss story in her book, my life changed. I love each of the women whose stories are in this book. Tracie sharing her story and including the other women’s stories represent hope, hope that one can find purpose, healing, and forgiveness from painful past experiences.
As you know, I started writing on a daily basis based on the challenge from Five Minute Friday and I joined the group 31 dayers in October. At that time I learned to make a landing page when you write a series. I have written the introduction to this study at http:www.diana2rockwell.com/Your-Life-Still-Counts which has the link to where you can buy the book. Please read the introduction to the study.
Because of Tracie’s generous heart I have access to the video’s that go with this book and you can print out the Participant Companion Study Guide . So owning the book will add to the richness of this study but by no means will prevent you from participating if you do not have the book. However, if you can not afford the book please email me at email@example.com and I will buy the book for you. I have purchased over thirty books and my family received the book as a Christmas gift so buying a few more will only make me happier because I believe in the message of this book, Your Life Still Counts.
I love the Mission Impossible theme song and I feel that 2015 we are on a mission. Romans 12: 2 says, “And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.” The theme verse in YLSC is Romans 8:28, “And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose. (NKJV) Tracie’s participant guide on the book is for six weeks with an optional seventh week. The guide is her gift to those that bought the book. The number of pages in each chapter is about ten pages. Each day your mission will be to read the book and my blog, and watch the video’s.
I am planning to write daily in our pursuit of seeking God and his perfect will for each of us. I will be praying for each of us to seek Him first in our lives. Your mission should you choose to accept it is to read the introduction and come back tomorrow. Blessings my friend. Diana
