Your Life Still Counts-Day -10

Time to Reflect

After reading the first five chapters, I want you to look in a mirror and say “I am God’s child, I am Christ’s friend, I am a daughter to the KING of KINGS and the LORD of LORDS.

In Chapter One questions, Tracie asks have you been listening to the enemy’s lies about your value and your self-worth?

Dear sister in the Lord, God says in Psalm 139:14, “You are fearfully and wonderfully made.”

But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us. Romans 5:8

Forgiveness

If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.
1 John 1:9

Who can find a virtuous woman? for her price is far above rubies. Proverbs 31:10

As each one has received a special gift, employ it in serving one another as good stewards of the manifold grace of God. 1 Peter 4:10

Beloved, why do we believe the negative? Why do we dwell on our failures? Why do we beat ourselves up for our past choices?

Father God, I ask today that the person reading this prayer knows how much you love them. How valuable each person is, God gave his son so that we can have forgiveness of our sins. Let us today become the virtuous woman who you have called us to be.

Chapter two, we are asked if we have ever doubted God’s love, forgiveness, mercy, and grace? Have you felt the exception to God’s promises and unworthy of these gifts? Spend time reflecting on God’s love, John 3: 16 says, “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.” Reflect on god’s mercy and grace: Hebrew 4:16 says, “So let us come boldly to the throne of our gracious God. There we will receive his mercy, and we will find grace to help us when we need it most.”

Beloved are you trusting God and celebrating His love, forgiveness, mercy and grace?

If you haven’t yet, take time to answer question four and five in Chapter two.

We will review Chapters 3-5 tomorrow. Today, your mission is to play with your children, laugh, spend time alone with the Lord, read your bible, memorize a memory verse. Just celebrate that today is the day that the Lord has made and we will rejoice and be glad.

Great post Diana and what a great week of healing I had. I had no idea this book was going to do what it’s doing to me. I already feel some healing and better about myself just from this weeks reading. Tracie really has a way of drawing her readers in, wow…I am so glad to have this book. Blessings my friend and have a good weekend.

So easy to fall in to the lies – so hard to get out.

Such wonderful truths Diana. Just this week I wrote a post called “Lies I believe…” I reflected back on all the agreements I had made with the evil one. Writing about it made me realize how far I’ve come in my healing journey. I still struggle sometimes, but back then I believed all those lies 100%, and only Jesus has been able to open my eyes to the truth!
    Blessings,
    Kamea

Kamea, it is hard when we live the lies and believe the lies. The healing journey is an awesome adventure. Blessings. Diana
