Share Your Faith

Write31days_Diana_day5

Sharing is the action behind the word share. Beloved, how are you sharing your faith? My story continues, I share really well. Remembering, my childhood, my mother shared. She taught me to share, she taught me hospitality.

We may have been poor, but we were rich in the love department. My mom opened the doors to our home to her niece, to her sister-in-law, to her brother-in-law, to marines waiting to serve in Viet Nam. Often it seemed like our dinner table was the local train station, in that, so many people shared a bowl of pinto beans and ice tea.

The most popular story we read in the Bible about sharing is the good Samaritan. We read in Galatians 6:2,

Bear ye one another’s burdens, and so fulfil the law of Christ. Galatians 6:2.

In this parable, several walked on by the man who had been beaten, yet, this good Samaritan renders first-aide, and pays for food and a room for this man to recover from his injuries.

Beloved, what ways have you helped someone who is down and out?

My ministry is to give away books to women who otherwise would not be able to participate in a bible study. I share these books as a tangible proof of God’s love. When we share we are the arms of Christ.

Another way to share God’s love is to be available, be present, praying for the person should be our first action.

Lastly, I learned to share from my mom, what are you teaching your children, your grandchildren, your neighbor, and lastly your friends.

Father God, help me to be aware of where I can share Your love. Give me the resources to assist those in need. May I openly share my testimony. I ask for peace for the person struggling. Thank You that we can share in our abundance. In the name of Jesus, Amen.

Who and what is God asking you to share?
