    Whispers

God whispers salvation is a once upon a time experience.

God whispers salvation is a once upon a time experience.

    Have you accepted Christ once?

Five Minute Friday gives the word, and then to participate, we are to write on the story for five minutes, a time to write five minutes on a word. Today the word is once.

Diana writes today is the day of Salvation, we only have to accept Jesus once.

    ONCE

Once upon a time is how the stories begin. My salvation story began as a little girl. I was eleven and at Girls Auxillary camp in Hardesty, Oklahoma.

The good news is that Jesus Christ died on the cross for all our sins. We read in Romans 3:23 that all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. In Romans 5:8, we read that while we were sinners, Christ died for us because the wages of sin are death, as stated in Romans 6:23.

I believe that once you accept Christ as your savior, one is saved, once and for all.

Diana writes on the word once. Today is the day of salvation

When did you ask Jesus to be your savior?

When my dad would preach, he would say, “Today is the day, you need to decide today, will you ask Jesus to be your savior?” There was an urgency. Unfortunately, there doesn’t seem to be that urgency anymore. But I think that we should be aware that today is the day of salvation. We are not guaranteed tomorrow.

Jesus forgives us our sins once and for all. We only need to accept Jesus’ gift once and for all.

If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved. As Scripture says, “Anyone who believes in him will never be put to shame.” Romans 10: 9-11. NIV

    Conclusion

To be quite honest, this took more than five minutes. I am writing a series on 28 whispers from God. Once we accept Jesus as our savior we hear the whispers of God through the Holy Spirit. He indwells us and fills us with peace and joy. If you have missed any of my series you can go to my landing page and catch up.

If you declare with your mouth, you will be saved. We only have to do this once.

When did you accept Jesus as your savior?
