    Five Minute Fridays

    Fear

Fear-Fear- (1)Five Minute Friday a time to write without fear.

Creaking, moving, shaking, the bridge moved with every step that I took. This bridge has since been replaced but as a child in Medicine Park, Oklahoma, this bridge was the footbridge and was mandatory to walk so fear would well up in me every time we crossed. Fear of failure, fear of success, fear of not being loved, fear of always being in pain, fear of growing old are just a few of the fears I face. My ministry at church based on the work by Neil Anderson, we spend an afternoon with a beloved sister and we explore the person’s fears before we meet the next appointment for the Steps To Freedom. 1 John 4: 17-19

    Isaiah 11:2
The Spirit of the LORD will rest on him– the Spirit of wisdom and of understanding, the Spirit of counsel and of might, the Spirit of the knowledge and fear of the LORD–

    John 14:27
Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.

    Romans 8:15
The Spirit you received does not make you slaves, so that you live in fear again; rather, the Spirit you received brought about your adoption to sonship. And by him we cry, “Abba, Father.”

    2 Timothy 1:7

For the Spirit God gave us does not make us timid, but gives us power, love and self-discipline.

Will you give your fear to God? What are those fears?

Beloved, God wants you to live victorious.
