Good morning, beloved friends, do you know we serve an ever-present God? God is omnipresent! In Dr. David Jeremiah’s book, The God You May Not Know, in Chapter 10, Knowing An Ever-Present God, declares what would it be like to live with an awareness of the presence of God as though He were always in the same room with you? He states that we can, if we understand His omnipresence. God is an ever-present God.

Teaching
Beloved, God is present in every part of space with His whole being. In Isaiah 57: 15-16 says, “For I am the Lord your God,
who stirs up the sea so that its waves roar—
the Lord Almighty is his name.
16 I have put my words in your mouth
and covered you with the shadow of my hand—
I who set the heavens in place,
who laid the foundations of the earth,
and who say to Zion, ‘You are my people.’”
There is a song that I used to sing with the children, “My God is so big, so strong and so mighty, there is nothing my God cannot do.”
In Dr. David Jeremiah’s book, he shares that we can meditate on God’s presence when tempted, when we are troubled, and when tasks at hand are hard assignments.
As we hide God’s word in our heart, this helps us not sin against God.
I have hidden your word in my heart
that I might not sin against you. Psalm 119: 11
Read how God is with us in Isaiah 43: 3 states that He is the Lord our God. The Holy One of Israel, Our Savior.
He is there when we are troubled, Jonah ran from him, yet he called out to him from the belly of the great fish. Joseph depended on God in the well and then in prison, then he was reunited with his brothers and his dad. Ruth clinging to her mother-in-law’s faith, finds Boaz. Esther trust God and goes before the King. Saul meets Jesus on the road to Damacus. Peter denies Christ and then becomes a mighty warrior for the Lord.
God is present everywhere. He is omnipresent. As I was studying Romans, I was impressed that God gave them over to their desires because He was all knowing and always present and He knew that they would not change. In this chapter, Dr. David Jeremiah states, “The Bible says God is everywhere, yet He is separate from His creation. He is the Creator of it all and pervades all of creation, but He is not the creation. He transcends the created order.” He is God.
Amazing God, how can it be that God can be everywhere at the same time?
“I keep my eyes always on the Lord, with him at my right hand, I will not be shaken.

Dusty Road
This week was special at work. I met a man and his family that has a famous name. As a case manager, sometimes I have to convince people to take the right path, the benefit of the choice. By the end of the conversation, , we formed a bond. We had to wait for a decision, so I had the privilege to serve the patient through the weekend. We had a common bond, the Lord. By Monday, I knew that he would get the needed services. I may never meet him again but God being an omnipresent God allowed us to meet.
Conclusion
Where can I go from your Spirit?
Where can I flee from your presence?
8 If I go up to the heavens, you are there;
if I make my bed in the depths, you are there.
9 If I rise on the wings of the dawn,
if I settle on the far side of the sea,
10 even there your hand will guide me,
your right hand will hold me fast.
11 If I say, “Surely the darkness will hide me
and the light become night around me,”
12 even the darkness will not be dark to you;
the night will shine like the day,
for darkness is as light to you. Psalm 139: 7-12
Beloved, God is omnipresent- In her work, Sarah Young writes a piece on omnipresence. “I am perpetually with you, taking care of you. This is the most important fact of your existence. I am not limited by time or space. My presence with you is a forever-promise. You need not fear the future, for I am already there. When you make a quantum leap into eternity, you will find me awaiting you in heaven. Your future is in my hands, I release it to you day by day, moment by moment. Therefore, do not worry about tomorrow.”
Is it a coincidence, that I would read this on Facebook, knowing I was going to write on Omnipresence of God. I think not. Make this your prayer that God is with you right now and He is with you in your future.
We have Matthew 6 the Lord’s prayer and the passage about not worrying about tomorrow.
Father God, you are perpetually with us, and we do not have to worry about tomorrow. You are our ever-present God. Because You are always with us, we can trust you when we are troubled, sick, and disappointed. We love you, Lord.
What will you do with this post? Will you trust God more completely?
