Enough Light For The Step You Are On

I read a book by Stormie Omartian, “Just Enough Light For The Step I am On.” The book impacted my life.

Learning to walk with our Heavenly Father is somewhat different. He wants us to reach up and take His hand, but He doesn’t want us to ever let go. In fact, His desire is that we become more and more dependent upon Him for every step. Stormie Omartian.

We read about the Israelites first steps into the promised land. In Joshua 3, Joshua leading the Israelites as they had to cross the Jordan River. The waters did not part until they took the first step into the river. We read this in Joshua 3: 15-16,

15 And as they that bare the ark were come unto Jordan, and the feet of the priests that bare the ark were dipped in the brim of the water, (for Jordan overfloweth all his banks all the time of harvest,)

16 That the waters which came down from above stood and rose up upon an heap very far from the city Adam, that is beside Zaretan: and those that came down toward the sea of the plain, even the salt sea, failed, and were cut off: and the people passed over right against Jericho. Joshua 3: 15-16 KJV.

    Psalm 119:166

What is the Lord asking you to do? What is the next step He wants you to take?

Beloved, where is God leading you?

Read this verse in Psalm 37.

The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord: and he delighteth in his way. Psalm 37:23 KJV.

So is there enough light for the step I am on? The answer is yes.

For me, September is a time of returning to Bible Study Fellowship. This year we are going to study Genesis. There is still time to join at HTTP:www/bsfinternational.org.

Additionally, Proverbs 31.org is leading a study for 40 days in the Bible. It is not too late to sign up for this study.

My next step is to continue serving God.

Father God, thank you that you give us enough light for the step we are on and thank you for directing our steps.

    What is your next step?
