Your Life Still Counts-Day-18

You keep track of all my sorrows. You

The thought of God having a storeroom full of my tears. How about you? Isn’t it amazing that God cares so much for us that He would catch our tears. In Chapter Six, we were encouraged to listen to the right voice? That still small quiet voice of our Heavenly Father. “The Lord is close to all who call on him, yes, to all who call on him in truth.” Psalm 145:18  We hear God in our thoughts and He reassures us. “For God  is Spirit, so those who worship him must worship in spirit and truth.” John 4:24 Tracie encourages us that regardless of how God speaks to us, we will hear His voice if we practice discernment through daily quiet time. When and how do you spend time with God? Are you reading His Word daily? Praying? Memorizing His Word? Question five asks you to read Deuteronomy 4:29 and Jeremiah 29:13 and to consider how to apply the truths found in these verses.

In Chapter Seven, Tracie shares we are never to broken. [Tweet “God loves the broken, He sent Jesus to heal the broken parts of my life. “]  Tracie writes, “You are a keeper.” [Tweet “Jesus sees immense value in each of us. Tracie Miles”]  She asks, “Will you delight Him by accepting His grace, mercy, and forgiveness today?”  God forgave me for many wrong choices. I believed God forgave you but His gift of forgiveness did not apply to me. That is a lie from the pits of hell. 1 John 1:9 says if we confess, He is faithful to forgive all of our sins. Have you ever felt like a broken can opener, a throw away person void of value, worth, or purpose? Remember that God thinks of you every single day and his thought of you out number the sand on the seashore according to Psalm 139:17-18.

How precious to me are your thoughts,a God!

How vast is the sum of them!

Were I to count them,

they would outnumber the grains of sand—

when I awake, I am still with you.

Chapter 8 covers your pain was not for nothing, chapter nine we are encouraged to let go of the lie because our redemption began at the cross. In Chapter 10 Tracie asks the question many of us has asked, “but where was God when I needed Him?” Whether you are sick, broken heart, made poor choices in your past. God cares for every detail of your life. I am living proof.

I heard this song this week. OverWhelmed   I delight myself in God. Do you?  I am captivated by His Mercy. Are You?

Your Mission today is to spend some time with God. Let him overwhelm you with His Love.
