28 Days of Loving God -Day 11
Beloved, leave is our word today. Leave is in the Bible 242 times. The most famous verse is found in Deuteronomy.
Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the Lord your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you.” Deuteronomy 3:16. NIV.
God’s love is shown in this verse, He goes with us, and He will never leave us nor forsake us.
We see many examples of God’s love in the Bible; He provided a sacrifice for Abraham, so Abraham did not have to sacrifice his Issac. He protected Joseph when he was sold into slavery. He protected King David from Saul. He provided for Daniel.
He loves us so much that He gave us Jesus. Jesus leaves us with peace,
Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid. John 14:27.
God loves us sweet friend. His love makes the world go around.
Father God, thank you that you never leave us or forsake us. In Jesus’s name. Amen.
