30 Days of Thankfulness-Day 26
Fear not, for I am with you; Be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, Yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand. Isaiah 46:10.
in everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you. 1 Thessalonians 5:12
Beloved, on this day after Thanksgiving, I am thankful that I do not have to fear. The promise that God is with me. He gives me strength and helps me. He upholds me with His right hand. So we can give thanks for everything.
At work, things are complicated because of the Covid virus. So many are sick, and yet I have the opportunity to help. As a nurse, I am most thankful for the training that enabled me to be a nurse. I am so grateful for the compassion that God gave me.
Father God, today we thank you for our careers. Thank you for those that are starving for your love, and help us to point each one of them to you. Please help us to hunger and thirst after righteousness, in Jesus’s name amen.
