Good morning, beloved friends, a really good friend of mine had a birthday on 8/11/2026. Happy Birthday Karen. So, today is a happy day for me, I have my computer back. I have been in serious withdrawal of not writing.
While I was waiting for the computer, I began my study with Love God Greatly, we are doing Christ Is All I Need, a study of Colossians. The method that LGG utilizes is SOAP. Scripture, Observation, Application, and Prayer. Currently, we are on Colossians 1. I love to write scripture. While writing scripture, what do you observe, how can you apply the scripture, and then write the scripture back in the prayer.
We always thank God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, when we pray for you, 4 because we have heard of your faith in Christ Jesus and of the love you have for all God’s people— 5 the faith and love that spring from the hope stored up for you in heaven and about which you have already heard in the true message of the gospel 6 that has come to you. In the same way, the gospel is bearing fruit and growing throughout the whole world—just as it has been doing among you since the day you heard it and truly understood God’s grace. 7 You learned it from Epaphras, our dear fellow servant,[c] who is a faithful minister of Christ on our[d] behalf, 8 and who also told us of your love in the Spirit.
Paul writes to the saints, thus us. What is the true message of the gospel? Beloved, Jesus Christ is the gospel. The true message of the gospel is that Jesus Christ is God’s son who lived a sinless life and died on a cross to pay the penalty for our sins. The gospel message continues to grow throughout the whole world. Who can we tell the good news that Jesus Christ is the reason for our hope?
Paul in the book of Philippians gives us our recipe for success. Yes, we can do all things including looking at scripture, writing our observations and applications and praying it back to God. We can tell others about Jesus. Who will you tell that Jesus is your Savior?
Someone told you about Jesus. will you be a someone?

Our weather is really hot and the little bugs are out. We have the beauty of the hay field and the deer. In the spring, my son saw an eagle. Recently, I have been more in tune with nature. As we camp on the prayer, may we be thankful that we have the word of God.
Conclusion
Father God, thank you for your faithfulness. Please open the eyes of our hearts so that we can see the wonderous world and hope we have in God. Blessings.
