Good morning, beloved friends. we serve a powerful God. Omnipotent, Omnipresent, Omniscient, all-powerful, always present, and all knowing, these are the attributes of our loving God. Are you comforted that God is a powerful God? In Dr. David Jeremiah’s book, The God You May Not Know, in Chapter 6, Knowing a Powerful God; Dr David Jeremiah explores scripture that demonstrates we serve a powerful God.
Teaching
In the scripture meme, ” I keep my eyes always on the Lord. with Him at the right hand, I will not be shaken. Psalm 16:8, gives us the recipe for success. However, how do you keep your eyes on the Lord?
Learning scripture is one way. I have decided to do my best to try and memorize scripture, and I was able to memorize Psalm 16: 8. I made many scripture cards, writing the verse, I decorated the cards and handed the cards to sick patients and employees this last weekend.
Dr. David Jeremiah poses the question, “Is there anything God cannot do?” Then he explains, God work within His nature. He states, “Omnipotence only operates within the guardrails of God’s nature.”
Paul states in 2 Timonthy 2:13, ” If we are faithless, He remains faithful, He cannot deny Himself.” Not only is God omnipotent, but Dr, Jeremiah states, His omnipotence is guided by His nature and thereby incapable of lying or denying Himself, and of being tempted by evil. His nature does not limit His omnipotence, it directs it. We see in James that God cannot be tempted, James 1:13.
God’s Power in our worship, our walk, and our work. We have His power, but we need to claim that power to energize our worship. Do you pray for your worship team? I love a great worship team. We can worship God corporately and privately. Daily, God is with us in our daily walk. Lastly, He is with us in our work. Read Romans Isaiah 48: 17 with me and Romans 15: 13
“This is what the Lord says— your Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel: “I am the Lord your God, who teaches you what is best for you, who directs you in the way you should go.”
“May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.”
Beloved, we have the power of God, He is the all-knowing, all-loving, God of the universe. He is omnipresent. Praise God for that.
Dusty Road
I am excited to be memorizing God’s word. I continued to work through Colossians, now we are on Colossians 3. Bible Study Fellowship is starting soon as we will start on studying Romans. I continue to work on John. What are you studying? I met a person in the hospital that looked just like my best friend, Jennifer Hahn and it was fun going down memory lane.
I love what I do for the Lord at work. Care management with emphasis on care.

Conclusion:
Omnipotence only operates within the guardrails of God’s nature.” This is my takeaway from Chapter 6. God cannot lie. God is true.
Beloved, I keep my eyes on the Lord through prayer and bible reading and study and daily trusting the Lord. I am adding memorization with the help of Wendy Blight from Proverbs 31.
Father God, I love you, you are all knowing, all powerful, and always present.
You are the alpha, the omega, the beginning, the end.
I can do all things through Jesus who gives me strength. I pray for those fighting illness and cancer. Remain with us. In Jesus’s name Amen
