Good Morning, beloved friend, daily we face challenges. Whether it is health, employment, financial, or family challenges–God is with us. The Apostle Paul said that God’s grace was sufficient to meet his daily needs. What challenges are you facing?
But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me.” 2 Corinthians 12:9
Paul prayed for a “thorn” to removed, and when this “thorn” continued he didn’t give up instead he prayed. He leaned in, looked up, and persevered.
One of my sayings, “Keep putting one foot in front of the other, ” another one, “Keep on, keeping on.”
Praise
Praise is the answer to our dilemma’s. Regardless of the outcome, just as the saying, “sugar helps the medicine go down,” praise helps with every situation we face.

Beloved, the word “praise” is in the Bible 363 times. Psalm 100: 4-5, states to enter the courts with thanksgiving and praise. Do you offer praise in all circumstances? Read the words of Psalm 150
Praise the Lord.[a]
Praise God in his sanctuary;
praise him in his mighty heavens.
2 Praise him for his acts of power;
praise him for his surpassing greatness.
3 Praise him with the sounding of the trumpet,
praise him with the harp and lyre,
4 praise him with timbrel and dancing,
praise him with the strings and pipe,
5 praise him with the clash of cymbals,
praise him with resounding cymbals.
6 Let everything that has breath praise the Lord.
Praise the Lord.
Last night we had a storm and as the thunder clapped, I praised God for the rain and more importantly, I praised Him that there were no tornadoes in the clouds.
Dusty Road
This last week at the hospital I was able to share my weight-loss testimony to two different patients. Do you have your testimony ready to share? We need to be ready to give the reason for our hope.
But in your hearts revere Christ as Lord. Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. But do this with gentleness and respect, 1 Peter 3:15.
On my dusty road at home, Doug had a cardiac procedure to assist with his atrial fibrillation. After the loss of our dog, we are doing okay. God sending us the kitty- Buddy. Buddy is a black kitty with golden eyes. He is so funny and keeps us laughing. We are praising God for the blessings.
On the dusty road at work and home, we contemplate God’s goodness and the things to praise God for.
Contemplation
My friend Karen L Clark writes a poem about contemplation and she suggest that we contemplate God. Posted by permission of Karen L Clark
Contemplation
Let us sit awhile
and contemplate
About our God
and how He is so Great!
He made our earth
by His own hands
Such beautiful scenes
in our many lands.
None the same
wherever you go
But each very intricate
their beauty aglow.
Look up to the sky
the clouds are a treat
It’s where Jesus will come
the place we will meet.
He will carry us in
to a beautiful new place
There we will live forever
We’ll finally see His face
We’ll praise God forever
We know He is Great
Lord Jesus, come soon
It’s this we contemplate!
Conclusion
So, beloved friend, what do you need to contemplate and praise God. A new kitty–a rain storm– an answer to a prayer! Please let me know your prayer needs. Father God, you are a God to praise and contemplate. You answer out prayers unexpectantly. You are the alpha and the omega, the beginning and the end. You are our everything. In Jesus’s name amen.
