Beauty in the eye of the beholder.

Five Minute Friday- a time to write for five minutes on the word Beauty.

There is a saying that beauty is in the eye of the beholder. I trust God that beauty comes from within and that the beauty others see in me is the beauty God instills.

Charm is deceptive, and beauty is fleeting; but a woman who fears theORD is to be praised. Proverbs 31:30

Beloved, I see so much beauty in the world from a newborn baby to the rose in the garden. What brings you delight? That is where we see God shine. That is the beauty of the world within us.

What brings me delight is being in God’s word, praying, and serving God. What about you?

 

I am loved by God, the alpha, the omega, the beginning, the end. According to the Bible, I am fearfully and wonderfully made. I am a saint who sometimes sins. I believe that Jesus is God's son and that He died on the cross to give me eternal life. I am married to my high school sweet heart Doug. I have been blessed by two adult sons Randy and Dale, who are married and I have six grandchildren Christian, Seth, Ethan, Hunter, Sabrina and Emerson. I became a nurse as an adult. I have had an amazing career and give all the glory to God.

    Many things bring me delight. Serving God in the homeless shelter, reading and studying His Word, and sharing time with family and friends are a few ways. Our 7 months old grandson definitely brings delight. He is full of happiness and joy. 🙂
