31 Day Writings

God has the whole world in His hands.

God Loves The Whole World

Martin Luther King says, “You don’t need to see the whole staircase, just take the first step.” I read the book Just Enough Light for the step I’m on by Stormie Omartian. She shared that God gives us the wisdom we need when we need understanding.

Whole

The word whole is in the Bible 242 times. Probably the most famous use of the word “whole” is the song, “He’s got the whole world in His hands.”

There are many beautiful places when one considers the whole world as we glimpse at the world as a whole. Which ones of God’s creations do you love?

Beloved, how does one cultivate an attitude of gratitude? So often, I think developing appreciation should be a school course. Saying thank you will help build gratitude. There is a saying to take time to smell the roses. When we slowed down and observed our surroundings like wildflowers, one could not help but be thankful.

I will praise thee, O Lord, with my whole heart; I will shew forth all thy marvellous works. Psalm 9:1.KJV.

Praise

This verse shares that God deserves praise for all the marvelous things He has done for us. With our whole heart, not a divided heart, not half-hearted, but with our whole heart.

[Tweet “When the Magi brought their gifts to baby Jesus, they gave their whole heart—filled with joy to worship King Jesus.”]

Do you serve Jesus with awe? Do you help with your whole heart?

Remember, to keep putting one foot in front of the other and God is with you each step because he loves the whole world.

“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.” John 3-16-17. KJV

Father God, thank you for the whole world and all of creation. Could you help me to be observant and grateful? Please help me to thank you and to inspire others to have an attitude of gratitude. In Jesus’s name, amen.

Will you start a gratitude journal? What are your first five entries?
