God whispers three astonishing ways to cope with a predicament

God whispers three astonishing ways to cope with a predicament.

Have you ever found yourself in a predicament? The definition of a predicament is dilemma or unfortunate or trying position or condition, a tight spot. Conveying this word’s meaning, we read in the Bible many times stories that relay a painful or difficult situation.

For me, I’ve been in many a predicament, both professionally and personally. Recently, my health causing me angst. As many know, I fell in December, fracturing my left shoulder. However, what you might not know is I fainted about two weeks ago, thankful I did not injure my shoulder again, but I hurt my right ribs in the fall.

Come to me, and I will give you rest.

Beloved, the truth, God is with you in your predicament. He whispers in Matthew 11:28, “Come unto me all ye who are heavy burdened, and I will give your rest.”

So the three ways to cope with a challenging situation are to pray, trust, and express gratitude.

Pray

When all else fails, pray, or sometimes one will say, all I can do is pray. When prayer should be the first thing, we do. King David is known for his prayers; we read them in the book of Psalm. His life was not easy. He had an enemy, and his name was King Saul.

King Saul was jealous of David.

Read with me in 1 Samuel 18,

“And it came to pass as they came, when David was returned from the slaughter of the Philistine, that the women came out of all cities of Israel, singing and dancing, to meet king Saul, with tabrets, with joy, and with instruments of musick.

And the women answered one another as they played, and said, Saul hath slain his thousands, and David his ten thousands.

And Saul was very wroth, and the saying displeased him; and he said, They have ascribed unto David ten thousands, and to me they have ascribed but thousands: and what can he have more but the kingdom?

And Saul eyed David from that day and forward.” 1 Samuel 18: 6-9. KJV.

This jealousy puts King David at odds and places him in danger.

God whispers, give me your concerns.

Trust

King David trusted God with his life. He has the opportunity at one point to kill King Saul, but he doesn’t. King David and his men are in a cave, and King Saul comes in to relieve himself, and David cuts off a piece of his robe.

When we are in a predicament, we need to trust God for the way out.

God whispers, trust me.

Gratitude

Lastly, we need to remain thankful and full of gratitude. God says to come to Him, and He will give us rest.

Conclusion

As we pray, trust, and fill our lives with gratitude, we can handle any predicament that we find ourselves.

Remember that God is good all the time, and all the time God is good.
