Jonah, Week 3, Day 1

What brings you hope? Each day we face the day and the challenges. In Jonah 1, Jonah runs from God. In Jonah 2, Jonah runs toward God. In Jonah 3, Jonah runs with God.

Jonah, Week 3, Day 1

Reading and Assignment

Jonah 3: 1-3, Lamentations 3: 22-23, SOAP Lamentations 3: 22-23

Scripture

This I recall to my mind, therefore have I hope. It is of the Lord‘s mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not. They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness.

Observation

We have reason to have hope. We can not use up God’s mercies. God’s compassion does not end. God is faithful.

Application

Do you seek God daily? What do you need hope for? God is compassionate and His mercies are new every day. When seeking God are you seeking Him with your whole heart. He is here for you.

Prayer

Father God, I run with You. I want to do whatever You are asking me to do. Where is my Ninevah? Lord, God let those reading Your word know that Your mercies are new every day. Your compassion never fails. Lord, thank you for Your faithfulness. Let me rest in Your compassion and faithfulness. In Jesus name, Amen.

Conclusion

Be sure and read the blog at http://www.lovegodgreatly.com. Lastly, there is a song that I love, The Steadfast Love of the Lord. His compassion never fails and it is new every morning.

God gives second chances. Please remember how much you are loved.

Do you need a second chance?
