Reading and Assignment

Jonah 3: 9-10, SOAP Jonah 3: 10

Scripture

And God saw their works, that they turned from their evil way; and God repented of the evil, that he had said that he would do unto them; and he did it not. Jonah 3:10.

Observation

God sees our works. God sees when we turn from our evil ways and we repent.

Application

God does not wish for anyone to perish. Have you accepted Christ as your Savior? Do you have regrets that you need to confess to the Lord?

Prayer

Father God, thank you that in 1 John 1:9 we can confess and you will forgive us in all unrighteousness. I am in awe of your majesty and grace. In Jesus name, Amen

Conclusion

Let us be quick to ask for forgiveness.
